Lisa Richardson, MA, RD
Registered Dietitian / Principal
Lisa Richardson is a Registered Dietitian (RD) with 25 years experience providing health lectures, menu planning and nutrition counseling services to a variety of clients, ranging from elite athletes to cardiovascular patients. Lisa is a regular corporate speaker as well as a featured expert for NBC 11’s health and fitness segments.
Lisa’s graduate degree is in Human Performance from San Jose State University and she also has experience in equestrian eventing, vaulting, gymnastics, dance, bodybuilding, power lifting and marathoning. Lisa believes that there are many ways to measure success in fitness (not just the scale). This philosophy drives her to create programs that combine proper eating as well as consistent exercise to help clients achieve their goals.
When Lisa is not busy managing the Fitness Clinic with Karl, she enjoys being a mom to her daughter, Casey (26) and son, Cory (16). When she gets the chance, she enjoys trying to improve her golf game.
Karl Malmsheimer, MS, RT
Karl Malmsheimer believes in the power of transformation. We are given only one body, so why not treat it with respect? Karl helps his clients understand physiological changes that will take place during exercise, and he knows that consistent exercise combined with proper nutrition is the only way to achieve optimal results. Karl Malmsheimer specializes in fitness using functional training.Whether you are recovering from injury or disuse, or are an elite athlete working toward a peak performance, functional training offers a method that will bring clients into optimal status.. For seniors, it is never too late to improve your strength, endurance, balance and flexibility.
When Karl has a little free time to himself, he enjoys running, going to the beach and mountain biking. He also enjoys lifting weights.
